The finance committee meets once a year in November unless a councillor calls additional meetings.
Standing orders are the written rules of a local council. They are used to confirm a council’s internal organisational, administrative, procurement procedures, and procedural matters for meetings. They are not the same as the policies of a council but they may refer to them. You can find the standing orders of Broughton Gifford Parish Council here.
Code of Conduct – all councillors are required to adhere to the code of conduct which can be found here. (This is due to be reviewed shortly.)
Financial Regulations set out the financial policies and principles of the council and provide the framework for managing our financial affairs. Financial Regulations, which can be found here, apply to all members and officers in the work they do for the council.
