Broughton Gifford offers many amenities to the village and its residents.
Play Area
The play area was transferred to the ownership of Broughton Gifford Parish Council in February 2019 and fully refitted by April 2019. As such we are responsible for the maintenance of the play area. You can report any faults, complaints, or compliments here.
Cemetery
We are responsible for managing Broughton Gifford Cemetery.

Broughton Gifford Parish Council respectfully requests that all tributes left on gravesites are environmentally friendly. Plastic tributes will be removed.
The Commons
We are responsible for looking after three commons; Broughton Common, Norrington Common, and Norrington Green. The Commons are by definition, common lands and open to all for use but they are subject to the Commons Regulations.

War Memorial
Telephone Boxes
Broughton Gifford Parish Council took ownership of the two red telephone boxes in the village. One opposite The Bell and the other on Norrington Common. Both are in the process of being refurbished. The box opposite The Bell will become a book swap with the Norrington one still up for debate!
Other village amenities – not run by Broughton Gifford Parish Council
The Village Hall – is run by the village hall committee. It is a large, refurbished hall with a stage, fully equipped kitchen, bar, and PA System. You can get in touch with the committee via their website.
Broughton Gifford Baptist Chapel – is located on The Common
Church of St Mary – is located on The Street
The Bell on The Common public house
The Fox and Hounds – public house
The Mobile library – is run by Wiltshire Council and stops outside The Rusty Stag. The timetable can be found here.
