Notice of Public Rights and Publication of Unaudited AGAR 2025
Following the Parish Council elections held in Wiltshire on 2nd May 2025, Broughton Gifford Parish Council hereby give notice that we intend to co-opt further members onto the Council to fill 4 remaining vacancies.
The process will take place at the Ordinary Council Meeting to be held on Wednesday 11th June, in the village hall starting at 7:30 pm.
If anyone is interested in putting their name forward to become a parish councillor we are keen to hear from you. For further information about councillor roles/responsibilities and the process to nominate yourself for consideration in the process, please contact:

It has been brought to the attention of the Clerk that the dates published for the Annual meeting of the Council and our May Ordinary Council meeting are showing incorrectly on this website. These meetings will be held next Wednesday 14th May and not 8th May (yesterday) as published on the website. The Clerk would like to sincerely apologise to members of the public and Councillors who turned out yesterday. On the 14th May the ACM will be commence at 7pm followed by the regular meeting which will start at around 7:30 pm.
The Annual Parish Meeting for Broughton Gifford will take place on Tuesday 8th April 2025 at 7:30pm in the Village Hall.
This is a wonderful opportunity for the Council to tell residents what has been happening during the year, to give an update on the Parish Plan and to invite comments on local issues. We do hope you will join us and help shape the plans for the coming years.
