New trees around The Common

We have planted some trees around The Common.

We planted a London Plane tree to replace the one that we had to take down.  We put it on the edge of The Common, near the baptist chapel.

We also planted a field maple and an ornamental hawthorn.  The hawthorn was planted in memory of David Pressey and was paid for by his family.

We took advice on what trees to plant and where to plant them from Wiltshire Council’s tree officer and from Richard Cripps, our tree warden.  Thank you to Richard for all his help and advice.
