We have bought a snow plough, so that we can keep the village’s roads clear if it snows. Whilst Wiltshire Council will keep the main roads clear, we want to make sure we can get to them
We got a grant for the full amount from Scottish and Southern Electric (SSE), so it didn’t cost the village a penny. There was some money left over, so we got a couple of grit bins, which we have put at the entrances to Newleaze Park and Mill Lane.
Thank you to SSE for their generosity and to Martin Hooper for volunteering to store and use the snow plough if the need arises.
