Broughton Gifford Survey

Thank you very much to everyone who responded to our survey last month.  We had responses from 104 households, covering 279 people.  This is about 1/3 of the village’s population, which is an amazing rate.  This shows a great level of engagement with the community, which we hope to foster in future projects. We have co-opted Claire Johnson onto the parish council. Claire has lived in the village with her husband, PJ, since April 2011.  She has a passion for people and the community and is an active participant in village events. Footpath 18

Wiltshire Council has restored the entrance to footpath 18.  This is the footpath at the end of the Common on the left as you leave the village towards Stonar. Many people had commented that the path had become impassable because of the mud and flooding.  It is certainly much easier to use now.  Thank you to Wiltshire Council for their work.
