Cost of Policing Consultation

Angus Macpherson, Wiltshire’s Police and Crime Commissioner, has launched a consultation on the cost of policing for 2016/17. He proposes adding £3.12 a year for a band D property onto the council tax, which would raise an additional £769,000.  He says that he needs to make savings of £2.7m to £3.5m. Bus service review
